Submitting a Challenge Attempt

Before you make an attempt, please read rules below:

Common rules:

• You can only travel on Opal services (with the exception of the F10 ferry which is required for the ferry challenge) or walk

• You must visit every stop of the network

• You do not need to alight at every stop, but the service must stop

• If the stop is closed or otherwise such that no services stop, you must travel on a service that would have otherwise stopped

• You must depart from and arrive at the start and end points on the mode concerned, for example you cannot start at Juniors Kingsford and leave by bus

Keeping track of your attempt:

• You must record every service you travel on, including the following details

  • Location of boarding

  • Time of boarding

  • Location of alighting

  • Time of alighting

• You must keep photo evidence of all of these for verification

• You do not need to keep a record of times every stop was visited nor take photos

• Your start and end times should be accurately recorded with photo evidence

Submitting your attempt:

• Use the submission form

• All fields are mandatory

• You will need a Google account

• Select the challenge you attempted

• Enter the name you wish to appear on the leaderboard

• Enter the date you made your attempt

• Enter the exact start and end times on the day (attempts cannot spread over multiple days)

• Enter your record of your attempt, including all services and walking connections and associated times

• Upload all necessary photo evidence

Viewing your attempt submission

• Your submission should appear immediately in the leaderboards however will not be verified

• If your submission is verified a 'verified' tag will appear in due course

• If your submission cannot be verified it will be removed
